Human Growth Hormone (HGH): Does It Slow Ageing?

Human growth hormone (HGH) is a peptide hormone produced by the pituitary gland. It consists of a pea-sized structure at the base of the brain. HGH mainly helps the children growth and in maintenance of tissue and organs throughout our life span. As we grow older, the pituitary gland reduces the production of growth hormones. Synthetic growth hormones, which are available in the market in form of pills and injections, now can be injected by prescription of a doctor. It claims to treat adult’s growth hormone deficiency due to ageing. These HGH injections are mainly used to increase bone density. It also helps in reduction of body fat and to look slimmer. It can also be used to increase body mass. It also increases body exercise capacity and energy levels. These drugs are also approved in treating HIV/AIDs muscle wasting.

Scientific researches show that human growth hormone is limited in healthy adults. It is clearly visible those human growth hormones injections can increase muscle mass and can also reduce the amount of body fat in healthy older adults. But unfortunately, the increase in muscle mass doesn't translate into increased strength. Intake of HGH drugs may cause serious problems in healthy adults. Some of these include joint and muscle pain and even can turn up into swelling in arms and legs. Carpal tunnel syndrome and even enlargement of breast tissue in case of men can be seen as a side effect from usages of these dangerous drugs. Human growth hormone (HGH) intake may also end up into diabetes and heart disease. Human growth hormone (HGH) pills are available for sale on websites who claim that it produces results similar to the injected form of the drug. These suppliers are named as human growth hormone releasers. There's no evidence or clearly visible proof that these claims are true. Even these pills and drugs are not approved by FDA. Usage of non approved pills and drugs without prescribed by doctor is illegal.

In specific, concerns about ageing should be always asked by your doctor about proven ways to improve your health. Living healthy lifestyle such as eating a healthy diet and including physical activity in your daily routine can help you feel much energetic and much younger than your real age. This is also known as looking younger in terms of your biological age. While body builders can benefit from the use of these supplements as these drugs promises to increase muscle mass. Since the human body's HGH levels naturally decrease with age, some anti-ageing experts claimed that HGH products could reverse age-related bodily deterioration and helps in restoration of youth back. But these claims are yet remaining unproven. The use of HGH for anti-ageing is also not approved by FDA. We should always consult any doctor before the use of any stimulated used of anti-ageing or any other HGH drugs. We should always prefer balanced diet and regular exercise over intake of these harmful drugs.
